The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has called for an international campaign of solidarity with the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) on June 15th-16th. The campaign is held in honor of ten Filipino comrades who were murdered by the Armed Forces of the Philippines in August last year, including the leaders Benito Tiamzon and Wilma Austria.
Revolutionary Communists, Norway (RK) and Red Front (RF) are publishing a joint statement in observation of the campaign. The communists of Norway stand in solidarity with the Communist Party of the Philippines and the fighting Filipino people.
Red salute to the CPP, NPA and NDFP!
On the occasion of the initiative from the comrades of the CPI (Maoist) for a worldwide campaign of solidarity June 15th-16th, we send our revolutionary greetings to the Communist Party of the Philippines and the revolutionary Filipino people. We observe the international campaign in honor of the leaders Benito Tiamzon and Wilma Austria, who were tortured and murdered by the reactionary Armed Forces of the Philippines along with eight other comrades in late August 2022.
We strongly condemn US imperialism and its compradors in the Duterte-Marcos regime. We send our red salutes to the Communist Party of the Philippines, the New People’s Army and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines. Murdered leaders live on in the struggle. The reaction cannot stop the People’s War. The masses of the Filipino people continue to generate leaders and militants who carry the torch forward, to bring the national democratic revolution to victory and march on to socialism and communism.
